He will perform songs from his new Fotografías LP, such as "La Barricada" and "La Belleza Del Son," original songs previously recorded during the ‘70s and now revived for the modern era. After lighting the fuse in Miami, the production will blow through four more cities this spring, including Orlando on May 17, 2025. The event will be a timely shot for American fans to hear the singer’s new album, played live at the five-star Kia Center with the Roberto Delgado Big Band.

Rubén Blades strings together one of the most remarkable concerts of his career. Join the multi-GRAMMY Award winner on a Saturday that salutes the beauty of salsa and Latin Jazz! As per tradition, his set will feature the classics that conquered Spanish charts, households, and airwaves through 50 YEARS, such as "Lagrimas," "Amoy y Control," and the chilling saga of "Pedro Navaja." Some of the hottest Latin music ever recorded for the dance floor, and at the same time, politically poetic masterworks for the activist’s mind.
The true stars of the show, however, are the hits from his latest album. Fotografías (2025) is a short but sweet collection of eight original tracks - snapshots that will transport you back to the fevered salsa craze of the 1970s. A third of them were first sung by Blades’ alter-ego, Medoro Madera. Another handful were previously lent to Puerto Rican legends Ray Barreto ("Eso Es Amar"), Ismael Miranda ("Señor Botánico"), and Bobby Valentin ("La Belleza del Son").

Winner of 24 major music awards, split evenly between the GRAMMYs and Latin Grammys, Rubén Blades is among the best-distinguished performers coming to Orlando this year. He will be supported by the Roberto Delgado Big Band, a 20-piece ensemble of musicians who have worked with him since 2010 and share in many of his highest honors. These include wins for Album of the Year (SALSWING!) and Best Tropical Latin Album (Son de Panama). The hosting venue, meanwhile, aims to provide a stage worthy of Blades’ tenure, elevating his performance with state-of-the-art sound and an extensive array of high-definition displays.
